Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
- Support serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes to customers
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Experience with meal preparation, kitchen operations, and working in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the food industry, including restaurant experience, will be considered an asset
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
