Fundraising Team Manager / Leadership Development Opportunity – Vancouver Region
We are currently growing our fundraising teams across the Vancouver region and are actively seeking candidates from Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Coquitlam, and New Westminster.
We are looking for experienced fundraising leaders and strong team builders to help develop high-performing teams and support our continued growth.

The Role
This position combines hands-on fundraising with leadership development and team building.
Leaders at SunSpark lead from the front by fundraising alongside their team, coaching new fundraisers, and helping create the culture and systems that drive strong performance.
Candidates with previous fundraising leadership or team-building experience may be fast-tracked into leadership opportunities.
You will work closely with senior leadership while helping develop the next generation of fundraisers and team leaders.
Key Responsibilities : Fundraising & Public Engagement
- Engage face-to-face with members of the public on behalf of nonprofit partners
- Build rapport and communicate impactful stories that inspire support
- Inspire individuals to become monthly donors supporting important causes
- Represent SunSpark and partner organizations professionally and ethically
Team Development & Leadership
- Support onboarding and field training for new team members
- Coach and mentor fundraisers in the field
- Help build motivated, high-performing fundraising teams
Program Development
As leadership responsibilities grow, opportunities may include:
- Supporting team structure and field operations
- Assisting with recruitment and expansion efforts
- Leading teams toward daily and weekly fundraising targets
- Helping build scalable systems and a strong team culture
What We're Looking For
We are especially interested in candidates with previous fundraising leadership experience, though we also welcome strong candidates looking to grow into leadership roles.
Preferred Experience
- Face-to-face fundraising experience (door-to-door, street, malls, or events)
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in performance-driven environments
- Sales, outreach, advocacy, or team leadership experience

Requirements
- Access to a reliable vehicle is preferred
- Must be able to travel throughout the Vancouver region, including Surrey, Burnaby, Coquitlam, and New Westminster
Pay & Growth Opportunities
- Starting base pay: $22/hour guaranteed
- Bonuses and commissions available based on both individual and team performance
- Leadership progression opportunities available for strong performers
- Candidates with previous fundraising leadership experience may progress more quickly into management opportunities
