General Labourer – Candle Manufacturing
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $17.60/hour
Shifts Available: Morning & Night Shifts
A client of Career1 Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to join their candle manufacturing facility in Mississauga.
Job Summary
The General Labourer (Production Worker) is responsible for supporting the daily manufacturing, packaging, and movement of candle products in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the manufacturing and packaging of candle products
- Perform repetitive production tasks efficiently and accurately
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Move materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and OHSA regulations
- Support production targets and daily operational requirements
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Regular bending, kneeling, crouching, and balancing
- Repetitive tasks requiring close attention to detail
- Frequent use of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing shop-floor environment
