Part-Time / Occasional Clinic Receptionist

We are a welcoming, patient-focused clinic seeking a reliable, empathetic, and friendly Part-Time/Occasional Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, occasional hours and the opportunity to provide reception coverage as needed.
The successful candidate will receive hands-on training from our current receptionist to become familiar with our clinic’s systems, procedures, and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner
- Book, reschedule, and confirm appointments
- Check patients in and out
- Process payments and assist with general administrative tasks
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries as needed
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area
- Support the clinic team with day-to-day administrative needs
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a medical, wellness, or allied health clinic
- Has experience using appointment booking software; Jane App experience is an asset
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is empathetic, patient, understanding, and comfortable handling stressful situations
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Is dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Is willing to learn about our clinic, our approach to care, and our day-to-day operations
- Has knowledge of medical terminology; an asset
- Has knowledge or experience with craniosacral therapy; an asset but not required
Availability
This is an occasional/part-time position to provide coverage for:
- Vacation time
- Sick days
- Occasional weekday shifts
- Additional hours as needed
Training
The successful candidate will be trained by our current receptionist to ensure they feel confident using our systems and providing excellent care to our clients.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
