This position is responsible for customer service, operating the point of sale system, receiving monies and selling tuck shop items at the Plunge! Aquatic Centre.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Check customers into facility issuing wrist bands, locks and keys, and towels
Cash handling and accountability for all monies.
Maintain good public relations and satisfied guests.
Answer phones and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Maintain a clean and presentable work area at all times.
Operate Jonas software to ring customer in, book swimming lessons, book birthday parties, enter season pass holders.
Inventory tracking when required.
Offer product knowledge of swimming programs and lessons being offered to customers.
Registration of participants in swimming lessons, parties, and events.
Maintain a clean facility at all times including performing cleaning duties of entrance ways, lobby, multi purpose, first aid and change rooms.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience required
Standard First Aid and CPR ‘C’ preferred
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
Must be able to communicate effectively with all ages
