High school diploma
Administrative Support certificate/diploma or a minimum 2 years office experience
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite software knowledge
Accurate keyboarding with a minimum typing speed 60 w.p.m.
Good mathematical abilities
Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work creatively and independently without supervision
Ability to prioritize workload within a multi-task environment with multiple demands
Experience in a healthcare environment
Knowledge of, ANSOS, databases preferred
Evidence of satisfactory attendance record

Should be aware of conditions and measures that may affect the safety of patients, residents, students, employees, volunteers, physicians and visitors
Coordinate recognition, education and celebration events.
Provide administrative and coverage support to the Interprofessional Clinical Education lead; includes HSPnet competency.
Maintain electronic/paper-based program and unit files.
Track and process financial requisitions/orders and payroll information.
Monitor and order office supplies.
Arrange orientation to new service managers and Professional Practice team members.
Input, update and post program policies and procedures on The Hub.
Maintain and update on-call rosters for service managers.
Coordinate and maintain unit specific interpretation billing, Patient Comfort Fund and centralized education budget.
Provide administrative support to both directors, teams, including processing of incoming and outgoing communication including mail, posting of communication memos/correspondence, photocopying forms, etc.
Collate data, and create and initiate reports and documents.
Maintain narcotics code database and aligned processes.
Support ALC database and ensure timely submission of required reports.
Activate & maintain Provincial Transfer Authorization Centre (PTAC) account for centre.
Prepare and coordinate select committee agendas, minutes and materials for both portfolios.
Perform other duties as assigned.
