Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and visually appealing
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary
- Support store operations by performing basic inventory checks and restocking shelves as needed
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; technical sales experience is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Proficiency with POS systems and familiarity with merchandising tools
- Customer service-oriented mindset with friendly phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
