INSIDE SALES - JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
About Us
Northland Floral continues to grow, and we’re seeking a Junior Account Manager to join our in-office team. This is an inside sales role that blends customer service with proactive sales responsibilities, including order processing, account support, and outbound customer outreach.
This role is well suited for someone with solid sales and service experience who is comfortable managing incoming inquiries while also building relationships and driving sales growth. We’re looking for someone who goes beyond transactional service - someone who actively contributes to strengthening customer relationships and growing the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inside sales and service support to assigned customers with product recommendations, cross-selling, and upselling
- Manage inbound customer inquiries, identify opportunities, and make calls to grow existing accounts, develop leads and earn expanded business.
- Accurately enter, review, and maintain high volumes of customer orders, account information, and delivery timelines, resolving any discrepancies before processing
- Support Key Account Manager with account administration, order management, and follow-up on resolution of customer requests
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in inside sales, account support, sales administration, or a similar customer-facing role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large volume of transactions, requests, and competing priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and platforms.
- Experience in mass-market retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), floral, grocery, or a related industry is an asse
Salary: $48 000 - $52 000
