The Ecommerce Sales Support role focuses on maintaining the existing Kidde Canada eCommerce customer relationships and the development of other eComerce initiatives with new and existing Kidde Canada customers. Additional duties will include providing Sales Support to the Director of Retail Sales and the Business Support Manager. It will also provide backfill coverage for the Master Data / Pricing Manager.
Minimum Education/Experience Required
Extremely strong communication skills written and oral
College Diploma in Marketing, Sales or Communications or matching experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer service/sales capacity
Excellent computer skills specializing in Excel and Powerpoint
Knowledge of JD Edwards would be an asset
Experience with major retailers including Amazon, Home Depot, Costco, etc. would be an asset
Paying attention to detail and providing accurate information is critical
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
1 - Ensure the eCommerce Strategy is maintained for all .ca business
2 - Maintaining content and accurate marketing information data (measurements, feature and benefits) for all .ca business
3 - Ensuring that all data is bilingual and available for all .ca business
4 - Provide support to Sales Department for the onboarding of new eCommerce customers. Duties will include setup sheets, pricing analysis, item setup, etc.
5 - Provide support to Manager Business Support Services as required including trade shows, promotional events, etc.
6- Sales support for Costco.ca / com, for Kidde Safety and any international opportunities (Costco and others)
7- Provide backfill for Master Data / Pricing Manager for Kidde Canada
8 - Maintain existing eCommerce relationships with Amazon.ca; Home Depot.ca; Costco.ca, Staples and ShopKidde
9- Review and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth with each eCommerce partner.
10 -Responsible for all internal and external Samples Requirements, including the sample cabinet
11 - Maintain the Canadian Price Shop Analysis in a Monthly basis for all major accounts
12 - Event Marketing support liaison between sales, marketing and third parties.

This candidate provides advisory or supportive services to the Sales and Customer Service departments. This position is highly contributory as the individual provides information and support to multiple departments and ultimately increased satisfaction to our customers.
This position has flexibility in the process and procedures to complete certain activities. While daily administrative tasks are structured as to the appropriate procedures to follow, some creative thinking and action on the individual’s part is required in order to achieve maximum results.

There is a considerable degree of sensory attention required. Candidate frequently uses more than 2 or more senses at a time, such as seeing, hearing and touching. This position may involve long durations of these senses while conversing on the telephone.
There is a minimum degree of mental stress associated with this position. There is some pressure from deadlines, accuracy, response time, etc. but should not pose any problems to the candidate to complete tasks on time and with good results.
