Overall Role
The Associate assists Wealth Advisors with business development, manages daily client requests, coordinates account administration, and delivers timely, accurate responses. The preferred applicant is motivated, proactive, attentive to clients, detail-focused, and enthusiastic about learning.
Job Description
Responsibilities: Business Development and Marketing (50%)
Ø Execute outbound cold and warm calling campaigns to prospective clients
Ø Track interactions, update client information, and ensure campaign accuracy in CRM
Ø Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Ø Help plan and organize events, seminars, and webinars, other business development activities
Ø Provide general marketing and administrative support
Ø Follow branding guidelines and regulatory standards in all marketing activities
Responsibilities: Client Service Support (50%)
Ø Oversee new client onboarding, including paperwork and setup
Ø Respond to and resolve client inquiries with professionalism and precision
Ø Schedule client and prospect calls and meetings
Ø Prepare meeting documents, annual review packages and tax materials
Ø Assist with portfolio reviews, performance reports, proposals, and financial plans
Ø Prepare and submit account trades for advisor approval
Preferred Qualifications
Ø Sales or marketing experience and a strong sales record are preferred, but not mandatory
Ø Marketing project management experience with social media, publications, and events is a plus
Ø Capacity to handle high-volume outreach with determination and resilience
Ø Positive attitude with intrinsic motivation to succeed and reach targets
Ø Willingness to engage in coaching and training to refine skills
Ø Ability to take feedback, learn from mistakes, and incorporate corrections immediately
Ø Ability to actively listen, assess social dynamics, and speak appropriately in social situations
Ø Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks, deliverables and deadlines
Ø Confidence in decision-making without requiring continual affirmation or approval
Ø Curiosity to identify needs instead of passively awaiting directions
Ø Commitment to high ethical standards and professional integrity
Ø Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology or related field
Ø Canadian Securities Course is a plus, but not required
Ø Desire to continue development through future training, courses and designations

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
