Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, needs, and concerns effectively.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed and ensure compliance with food handling guidelines.
- Process payments accurately through cashiering duties and handle cash responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
