EARLS Industries Ltd. has an opportunity for a skilled Welding Fitter/Fabricator to work full time in our CWB Certified W47.1 welding shop. All work is completed in our Port Coquitlam shop with regular shifts Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 4:00pm.
The position is for a Fitter/Fabricator engaged as a production employee responsible for tack fitting assemblies to be delegated to production welders. Successful candidates must be able to read and interpret production assembly drawings and produce finished products according to indicated design and allowed tolerances. Experience with repairs, straightening and alignment of fabricated assemblies is a must.
The Leadhand Fitter/Fabricator will be responsible for coordinating and delegating tasks to production welders and will work close with engineering and production staff to ensure prompt and efficient progress in various projects.
Candidates must hold a valid CWB FCAW and SMAW ticket, minimum flat. CSA W178.2 Level 1 inspector and/or magpartical NDT experience is a bonus. Also experience is required with arc-air gouging, oxy-acetylene torch, overhead cranes hydraulic press and optical burning table.
Pay: $40.71-$45.66 per hour
