Nisku Ford is seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic dealership team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of automotive systems, and the ability to upsell services effectively. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, along with strong mechanical knowledge and customer service expertise. The Service Advisor will coordinate repairs, provide estimates, and promote additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and trust.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Provide detailed explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance services.
- Prepare repair orders, estimates, and invoices with precision.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Upsell additional services or products that meet customer needs while maintaining integrity.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and post-service satisfaction.
- Maintain organized records of service history and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

- Proven experience in a dealership environment or automotive repair shop preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle systems and repair processes.
