Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer or grooming assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch grooming services to pets.
Duties
- Bathe, brush, trim, and style pets' fur according to pet owners' preferences
- Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression as needed
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during grooming sessions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owners' requests and concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer is preferred but not required
- Certification from a grooming school is a plus
- Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when moving pets or grooming equipment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
