Key Responsibilities: Mechanical and Structural Oversight, Fire and Life Safety: Move-In / Move-Out Coordination Bylaw and Rule Enforcement: Emergency Response and After-Hours Availability, Administrative and Record-Keeping: General Janitorial and Common Area Maintenance, Hours Standard hours are flexible and will be discussed with the successful candidate, but the position requires availability for emergency and after-hours response outside normal working hours when building issues arise. This is inherent to a live-in caretaker role and is a core expectation of the position, not an occasional exception. Compensation Compensation is negotiable and will reflect the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. Occupancy of the on-site Resident Caretaker suite (a one-bedroom unit within the complex) is available and also negotiable, Qualifications Prior experience in building maintenance, janitorial services, or resident caretaking in a residential strata or multi-unit residential environment strongly preferred .Working knowledge of building mechanical systems (boilers, pumps, water heaters) or demonstrated aptitude to learn.
Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
