Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the warehouse. Must have knowledge of Rebar.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Perform order picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Conduct basic math calculations to verify quantities and measurements.
- Handle packaging materials and prepare shipments for delivery.
- Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and inspect goods for damage.
- Operate Infor system for data entry and order processing.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment .
- Proficiency in order picking, shipping, and receiving processes.
- Basic math skills for inventory management tasks.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment for loading and unloading tasks.
- Ability to identify various types and sizes of rebar
- Knowledge of computer system or similar inventory software is advantageous.
- Experience in order fulfillment and maintaining warehouse efficiency.
