Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by selling advertising, sponsorships, and customized multi-platform marketing solutions across a variety of products.
- Prospect, identify and pursue new business opportunities for Canadian Underwriter across digital, print, custom content, social and sponsorship offerings.
- Meet with customers and/or advertising agencies to develop new business and/or maintain existing relationships.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, advertising agencies, and key industry contacts.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and customized solutions.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Represent Canadian Underwriter at conferences, networking events, and other industry functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative ideas, integrated campaigns, and new revenue opportunities.
- Manage multiple customer campaigns and commitments across different products and platforms while meeting deadlines and sales targets.
Job requirements:
- 3+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- A true sales professional with demonstrated experience and success in a “hunting and acquisition” based selling role for digital, sponsorships and print.
- A strong understanding of digital advertising, social media campaigns, and multimedia campaigns is a must
- Experience in media sales, both digital and print, is preferred.
- Existing advertising agency or industry relationships is an asset.
- Experience or knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset.
- A willingness to become immersed in the industry, build a network, and become a trusted sales resource to customers.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
