Machinery Mover / Mechanical Labourer

Starting Wage: $35.00/hour
Company Vehicle Provided After Successful Probation (up to 60 days)
We are a well-established machinery moving and millwright company specializing in the relocation, installation, and servicing of industrial equipment throughout Ontario. Responsibilities
- Assist with machinery moving, installation, and relocation
- Rigging, material handling, and equipment setup
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Work alongside experienced machinery movers and millwrights
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Travel to customer sites throughout Ontario
Minimum Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
- Clean driving record with demonstrated safe driving habits (driver’s abstract required)
- Must be insurable under company commercial vehicle insurance
- Comfortable driving pickup trucks and company vehicles
- Experience towing trailers or operating larger trucks and equipment is an asset
- Must own a basic set of quality hand tools
- Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to start early mornings and consistently arrive on time
- Physically fit and capable of demanding manual labour, including heavy lifting
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous experience in machinery moving, millwrighting, construction, manufacturing, or heavy equipment is an asset but not required
Employment Eligibility
Applicants must be legally authorized to work full-time in Canada on a permanent basis and be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada before employment. We are not able to provide work permits or immigration sponsorship for this position.
