The Fin Liquor Store is looking for a friendly, energetic and highly reliable new team member to join our team at 2 - 3 days/week.
Candidates MUST be at least 19 years old.
Candidates MUST be available on evenings, weekends and weekdays as needed throughout the summer.
General duties include:
- Enforcing provincial liquor legislation and regulations
- IDing customers that appear to look under the age set by provincial regulations.
- Stocking shelves and putting away orders.
- Providing exceptional customer service: greeting customers, helping them find products that they are looking for and recommending new products.
- Following general store cleanliness and sanitization standards.

What We Expect in Return:
- Candidate must be able to perform occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable unloading pallets, stocking shelves, general cleaning duties.
- Comfortable working in a cold cooler.
- Responsible and honest with regard to cash-handling.
- Respectful and excited to meet new people. (staff and customers alike)
- MUST be comfortable and eager to assist customers with any inquiries.
- Must be of legal serving age (19+)
- Must be Serving-It-Right certified
- 1 year customer service experience an asset but not required.
- 1 year POS and cash-handling experience an asset but not required.
- Alcohol product knowledge an strong asset but not required.
While we offer flexible schedules, all potential applicants must be available for days, evenings, weekends, holidays and long weekends. Our store is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Hours of operation are 9am-11pm daily. Day shift starts 8:45 am to 4:00 pm, Night shift starts 3:30/4:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
