Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, following recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet health department standards
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in the food industry demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Previous experience in serving or assisting customers is a plus but not required
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality
