Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will assist in various stages of building projects, utilizing a range of tools and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in masonry, restoration, and heavy equipment operation while contributing to high-quality construction and renovation projects. The Laborer will work closely with skilled tradespeople to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality throughout all phases of work.
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to perform construction, masonry, and restoration tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, setting up materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Perform demolition, renovation, caulking, and other finishing tasks as required
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently under supervision
- Support team members in lifting, moving, and installing materials or equipment
- Follow safety guidelines at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Assist with site cleanup and organization to ensure a tidy workspace
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with construction sites, masonry, or renovation projects is preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in restoration or caulking is beneficial but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on the job site
