Multi‑Property General Manager
Central Vancouver Island or Sunshine Coast Full-Time | Regional Leadership Role | 3–4 Properties
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Multi‑Property General Manager to oversee 3–4 distinct hotels across the Central Vancouver Island or The Sunshine Coast. Each property has its own character—from hidden gems to relaxed beachfront escapes—and each is supported by an on‑site Property Lead.
The GM provides regional leadership, ensures operational consistency, and drives performance across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and support Property Leads and department heads
- Build engaged, high-performing teams
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management
Operational Oversight
- Ensure smooth daily operations across all properties
- Maintain brand standards while respecting each property’s unique identity
- Strengthen systems and processes that improve efficiency
Financial & Business Performance
- Achieve revenue targets and manage labour costs
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to meet goals
Sales, Marketing & Guest Experience
- Support local sales initiatives and regional marketing efforts
- Champion exceptional guest service and handle escalated concerns
- Maintain strong reputation scores and guest satisfaction metrics
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Support new property transitions or openings
- Contribute to long-term regional strategy
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5+ years of hotel management experience, ideally with multi‑property or complex operations
- Proven success in leading teams and managing budgets, labour, and sales targets
- Strong understanding of full‑scope hotel operations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- A leadership style that balances accountability, collaboration, and guest‑focused service
