Overview
We are offering a free workshop designed specifically for International Educators and Navigators (IENs) to enhance their skills and provide insight about Canadian health care system. This workshop provides an excellent opportunity for professional development, networking, and gaining practical insights into policies and procedure. Participants will engage in interactive sessions led by experienced educators, get free nursing kit and lots of hand on practice.
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in workshop sessions, including discussions and group activities
- Share your experiences and insights related to tutoring and teaching diverse student populations
- Engage with fellow IENs to exchange ideas and strategies for working effectively with children
- Complete any assigned exercises or practice activities designed to improve classroom management and instructional skills
- Provide feedback on workshop content to help tailor future training sessions
Skills
- Tutoring experience or background in teaching is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and engage learners
- Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings
- Classroom experience that demonstrates the ability to manage groups and foster a positive learning environment
- Ability to collaborate with peers and adapt to different teaching styles and scenarios
