Duties include:
- Assisting the dentist and hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures (such as chairside assisting, treatment plan entry and periodontal probing recording);
- Taking digital dental x-rays;
- Reviewing patient's medical history
- Serving as an infection control participant, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment;
- Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment;
- Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery and other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling);
- Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., toothbrushing, flossing and nutritional counseling);
- Taking digital impressions and records of patients’ teeth for study casts (models of teeth);
- Strong communication skills to explain dental procedures such as Invisalign, Crown and Bridge, Dental Implants and other major dental treatments.
- Preference given to those who have their Orthodontic Module Certification and Crown/Bridge Module Certification. iTero and Invisalign knowledge is preferred.

Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
