Key Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely and efficiently operate Class 1/A heavy tractor-trailer combinations across international borders.
- Logistics & Compliance: Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and properly track/document all activity logs in strict compliance with DOT and Hours of Service (HoS) regulations.
- Inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is roadworthy; immediately report any mechanical issues or road incidents to dispatch.
- Cargo Management: Oversee the safe transport of goods, including assisting with loading and unloading cargo as required.
- Communication: Maintain proactive, professional communication with dispatch regarding ETAs, delays, and route updates.
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Mandatory).
- Licensing: Valid Class A / AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Driving Record: A clean driving abstract and CVOR with no major violations.
- Border Readiness: Must possess valid documentation to legally enter and work in the United States (FAST Card or valid Passport/Visa).
- Attributes: Strong work ethic, self-reliance (for solo), strong cooperation skills (for teams), and a deep commitment to strict punctuality.
