one of our client is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join their fabrication team. The successful candidate will read blueprints, fit structural steel components, and perform high-quality welding while maintaining safety and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Fit and assemble structural steel components.
- Perform MIG welding on structural steel.
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Welder/Fitter in a steel fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of MIG welding and fitting techniques.
- Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
