Why Join Tutor Doctor?
Established Industry Leaders:
Tutor Doctor is the largest and most reputable in-home tutoring organizations in Ontario. Our brand is widely recognized for quality and professionalism, making Tutor Doctor a great addition to a resume or application for a teaching program.
Tutor Doctor is part of a proven franchise system of over 500 locations in 16 different countries, therefore all processes are structured, standard and well organized.
Tutor Doctor’s clients purchase and pay for a package of sessions and pre-determine the number of tutoring hours per week. As a result, our families are committed to their tutoring schedule and package duration. This is of benefit to the tutor as they can rely on consistent tutoring income and avoid frequent cancellations, or have their student quit out-right which often occurs with “pay as you go” tutoring services.
Prior to the start of tutoring, an Education Consultant meets with the family to personalize the program for the student, match the right tutor, and ensure everyone is clear on the student’s needs and goals. The tutor receives a detailed report about the student to use as a guide for the development of the tutoring plan. Tutors plan their sessions according to their student’s needs and work with the curriculum the student is learning.
Tutor Doctor offers a wide variety of resource websites and digital curriculum platforms to aid tutors. In addition, our customer relationship management computer system allows for easy tracking and reporting of tutoring sessions.
