Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our digital marketing initiatives and enhance our online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, SEO strategies, and digital advertising tools. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to various marketing campaigns across multiple channels. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content, optimize online visibility, and analyze campaign performance to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and updating company websites using WordPress, ensuring content is current and optimized for SEO.
- Support the creation and editing of visual assets using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite for marketing materials.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings.
- Help develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and Google AdWords.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and campaign performance using Google Analytics and other analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments.
- Assist in managing email marketing campaigns, including content creation, segmentation, and performance tracking.
- Support social media efforts by creating engaging posts and managing advertising efforts on Facebook and other social platforms.
- Collaborate with the team on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL tasks related to website optimization and data management.
- Perform competitor analysis and market research to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Maintain organized records of campaign results, keywords, ad spend, and other relevant data for reporting purposes.
Experience
- Prior experience or internship in digital marketing, e-commerce, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with SEO techniques, keyword research tools, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and email marketing platforms is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), WordPress, HTML/CSS, SQL basics, JavaScript fundamentals, and Google AdWords is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies including content creation, paid advertising campaigns, analytics interpretation, and social media management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
