Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. The Server will be responsible for taking food and drink orders from customers and ensuring their overall dining experience is exceptional.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
- Take food and beverage orders and relay to kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks to patrons in a timely manner
- Upsell additional items when appropriate
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in during the meal
- Process payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area & washroom
Skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Knowledge of basic math for order taking and bill processing
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
- Proficiency in using POS systems
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Asset
- 1-3 years of server experience
- Smart-serve certificate
Tentative Work Schedule (4:30pm-9:30pm)
- Tuesday, Thursday, alternating Saturday
- Wednesday, Friday, alternating Saturday
Your work days can be modified based on your availability and will be fixed thereafter. Please include your availability in your application.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
