Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, function, and overall quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in hospital settings, acute care, and pediatrics is highly valued. The Physiotherapist will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to promote healing and improve mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the management of acute care cases, including post-surgical rehabilitation and pediatric therapy.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines throughout all patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid license or registration as a Physiotherapist in the respective region or country.
- Prior hospital experience is preferred, especially in acute care settings.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice.
- Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
Pay: $29.70-$93.89 per hour
