Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for the Safe, environmentally responsible, reliable and efficient operation of the Vantage pipeline system. This will be accomplished by ensuring daily field activities are coordinated and executed as per the Production and Maintenance Plan. The Supervisor sets operating parameters, issues directives and provides leadership and technical assistance to the field Technicians.

Active participation in and promotion of Pembina’s Safety Culture
Leading and mentoring employees and contractors
Ensure employees are adequately trained and qualified to perform job duties
Ensure Safe Work Procedures and Standards are understood and adhered to
Conduct Monthly focused work place inspections
Audit safe work permits and FLHA’s monthly
Leads Safety meetings in person on a frequent basis
Manage day to day costs by following procurement processes and procedures
Immediately reacting to, recording, and correcting substandard and upset conditions
Initial Incident notifications, investigation and follow up
Emergency Response leadership in the field
Coach and mentor field staff, including providing real time performance feedback and conducting annual performance reviews
Qualifications

Post-secondary Degree, Diploma or Certificate
Advanced verbal communication skills
Minimum of three years’ experience at the Foreman level and total of 15 years industry experience, pipeline preferred.
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, SMART and SharePoint
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Working Knowledge in Pipeline Regulation, NEB, AER considered an asset
The successful candiate will ideally reside in Southern Saskatchewan or South Eastern Alberta
