We are looking for a skilled CADWorx Support Specialist to oversee the administration, configuration, and technical support of the CADWorx software suite. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth software operation and effective support for engineering and design teams. It serves as a bridge between software system management and engineering design, with a focus on maintaining reliable 3D plant models and enabling project execution.
- Set up, configure, and manage CADWorx project environments.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain company CADWorx specifications and catalog libraries.
- Customize Isogen styles and general arrangement (GA) drawings to align with client-specific formatting, borders, and dimensioning standards.
- Facilitate data integration and exchange between CADWorx and other engineering analysis or clash detection software tools.
- Produce key project deliverables, including piping isometrics, bills of materials (BOMs), and clash detection reports.
- Provide hands-on user support, including “over-the-shoulder” troubleshooting and structured training sessions for engineering teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CADWorx administration or similar specialist support roles.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Completion of a technical college drafting program is also acceptable.
- Strong proficiency in CADWorx Plant Professional, CADWorx P&ID, and related platforms such as AutoCAD.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support technical users effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical solutions to engineering and design teams.
