AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Machine Operators for an upcoming assignment in Southwestern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 5 days per week when assigned to a project.
***Please note this is a temporary contract position, so it may not be suitable to someone currently working full time***
You will earn:

$26 per hour before overtime

$30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)

Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)

Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Set up machines for production.
-
Assemble various parts of machines
-
Sanitize Lines
-
Assemble ingredients & adjust machines to formula specifications (following SOP's)

Monitor equipment for malfunctions
-
Complete required paperwork/documentation
-
Housekeeping duties as required for a safe work environment (maintain a 5S work environment)
Skills & Qualifications:
-
Production/manufacturing experience (3 years preferred)
-
Food Production experience (preferred)

Knowledge of 5S work environment
-
Lock out tag out experience
-
Strong mathematics and technical aptitude

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physically able to bend, lift, stand and reach

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision as well as part of a team

Basic computer skills

Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
