Job Summary
Provide is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for home interiors and the ability to thrive in a highly specialized retail environment. The role has multiple focuses that will be fulfilled by exceptional customer service, furniture sales logistics, e-commerce and inventory management.
Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships, making every interaction memorable.
Ideally you are happy to work 15-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer design inquiries professionally and recommend relevant and thoughtful solutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service – knowledgeable, prompt and friendly
- Develop repeat clientele by actively listening to and engaging with customers
- Prepare special order estimates, and follow through to completion of project
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stock shelves to ensure an inviting shopping environment
- Create, submit and receive purchase orders while maintaining inventory accurracy
- Carry out weekly inventory counts
- Help to create new products and maintain store website
Requirements
- A passion for home decor
- 2-3 years previous retail sales experience
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Self-starter, organized and detailed orientated
- Knowledgable of point-of-sale systems, e-commerce (Shopify), Good Drive and Apple computers
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible schedule as needed .
- Flexible schedule during the week day and can work Saturdays from between the hours of 10:30-5pm
