Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring that our clients' spaces are safe, hygienic, and welcoming.
Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is required. The position emphasizes professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail to meet the high standards of our clients.
Currently available: commercial building, 10 hours per week, downtown Hamilton. $19.50 per hour for first three months then $20 per hour after that. Will have up to 25 hours of work shortly.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including offices, retail stores, and industrial facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas to ensure cleanliness.
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas following health and safety protocols.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning operations.
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is required.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
