Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with both hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by fabricating and assembling components to create high-quality products. This position requires a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble components according to specifications.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure product integrity and quality.
- Operate forklifts safely for the movement of materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assembly or fabrication roles is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
- Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
