In this role, your main responsibility in these roles is ensuring the client and staff are safe and comfortable throughout their stay at our lodge. Room and meals are included. Rotations are 14 on/7 off, includes weekdays, weekends and holidays. Shifts average 10 hours per day. Security must always maintain a high level of customer service and confidentiality and provide a positive, yet assertive attitude while enforcing all the rules of the camp. The role will include working at the front gate checking vehicles coming and going; checking in and providing orientation to night guests; filling out incident reports when required. The Candidate must be physically fit as the role requires that they preform multiple perimeter foot patrols, snow shoveling and going up and down stairs. The role also includes a wide variety of handyman skills such as tasks that maintain the daily upkeep of client rooms and common areas (gym, rec room, dining room) such as fixing door locks, plunging toilets, changing light bulbs, resetting TVs, patching holes, carpet repair, etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Check vehicles coming through the gate to ensure they are registered guests
- Preform multiple perimeter and property foot patrols throughout the shift
- Snow removal from outside stairways and foot paths
- Provide orientation to guest who are new to the camp.
- Handles difficult guest inquiries and concerns effectively
- Complete daily and period reporting for management
- Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Reports, turns in, and/or logs all lost/found items according to procedures
- Ensures organization and cleanliness of the work area.
- Maintain frequent interaction with coworkers, management and guests
- Participate in safe work practices
- Ensure organization and cleanliness of the work area as well as storage areas

A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED. Room and meals are included. Candidates will need to provide their own transportation, at least, into Ft. McMurray. Rotations are 2/10; daily shifts average 10 hours per day.
