Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks across different projects, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Perform general site cleanup and debris removal
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
- Operate basic tools and machinery safely under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Help with setting up work sites, including assembling and disassembling equipment
- Carry out other manual tasks as assigned to support project timelines
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and standing
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety and detail
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable transportation is preferred but not mandatory
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar fields is advantageous but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
