Terms of Employment: Part time orFull-Time Work

Wage information: $15 - $18 per hour. Bonus’ available upon performance

About: Urban Stagers is a full service home staging and interior decoration company servicing the GTA. We are looking for an experienced home stager or decorator to join our team. Someone passionate about design and creating over the top designs.

Hours: Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm. Some days we may have to start earlier and/or work past 7pm.

Candidates will need to be available to work weekends when required.

Skills Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written correspondence

- Personable & persuasive - Thinking quick on your feet

-Be able to create 3D Renderings for clients ( A MUST)

- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint

- Social Media savvy (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz)

- Experience in home staging or interior design is required

- YOU MUST have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, with insurance to get around town with ease when required

- An Interior Design degree is a definite asset

Education: Post Secondary Education is a MUST.

Staging and coordinating position:

-Visit job sites & meet with clients

-Back end design for staging projects

-Space planning

-Select furniture and accessories for staging projects

-Assist with social media posts and campaigns

-Help manage movers and contractors

Warehouse & Staging Duties:

-Unpacking and displaying furnishings/decorative items

-Packing up furnishings & decorative items

-Warehouse or project site

-Some heavy lifting

-Ability to work longer days or weekends (when applicable)

-Schedule Deliveries & Pickups

Administrative Duties:

  • Upload photos of new products and their descriptions & measurements on to our website
  • Prepare staging checklist for the warehouse staff each night for upcoming stagings
  • When instructed, arrange appointments with appropriate professionals to clean or repair damaged inventory
  • Take an active role in the organizing and re-organizing the showroom space to provide maximum value.
  • Schedule consultations and assist with presentations at brokerages
