Clinical Care Assistant — Full-Time | Fonthill, ON
We're not posting this job because we need a body to fill a seat. We're posting it because we are building something rare — a clinic where women navigating perimenopause and menopause are truly seen, deeply supported, and changed for life. And we need someone who gets it.
Fonthealth is a Perimenopause & Menopause Clinic rooted in whole-person care, with hormone optimization and weight management as core parts of how we get women there. Our members don't come to us for a quick fix — they come because they're ready to reclaim their health, their confidence, and their lives during one of the biggest transitions they'll go through. We meet them exactly where they are, and we walk alongside them every step of the way.
If you are the kind of Clinical Care Assistant who takes pride in a perfectly prepped chart just as much as a warm hello at the door, who doesn't need to be asked twice, and who never shows up halfway — keep reading.
Who We Are
Fonthealth is not your average clinic. We are a tight-knit, multidisciplinary team — including Nurse Practitioners, Registered Practical Nurses, a Nutritionist, and more — who collaborate closely to deliver extraordinary care to women in perimenopause and menopause. Every member who walks through our doors deserves our very best, and we hold each other to that.
We are a growth-oriented culture. We celebrate wins loudly, support each other through challenges, and are always learning. We invest in our team because our team invests in our members. That's the deal — and it's a great one.
The Role
This role is the operational backbone of the member journey. You are the connective tissue between our members and our clinical team, and you will wear at least two hats in this role: hands-on clinical support, and front desk and administrative coordination.
You will be genuinely hands-on: taking vitals, performing body composition testing, preparing and administering vitamin injections, and prepping members for appointments. You will ensure every nurse walks into every visit with everything already done, and nothing waiting on a follow-up that should have already happened.
What You'll Be Doing
Clinical Support
- Take vitals and support nursing documentation
- Perform body composition testing and before/after measurements
- Prepare and administer vitamin injections
- Ensure members are fully prepared for every appointment
Member Coordination & Front Desk
- Schedule active members and manage appointment adjustments
- Monitor the member support email and escalate appropriately
- Cover front desk when primary staff is unavailable
- Support structured, asynchronous check-ins with members via email
- Manage medication refills and blood work requisitions
Operations & Systems
- Monitor and maintain the Fonthealth tracker in ClickUp
- Upload bloodwork and body composition documents into ClickUp
- Build accurate, complete member profiles in the system
- Keep medication records accurate and up to date
- Maintain daily clinic cleanliness and support the weekly deep cleaning schedule
- Identify and flag clinical or member flow gaps to the team
Are You Our A Player?
We use that term intentionally. An A player at Fonthealth is not just capable — they are an energy carrier. They elevate the room, the team, and the member experience just by showing up. If this resonates with you, you might be exactly who we're looking for.
You are mission-driven. You genuinely believe that how a member feels in our clinic matters just as much as her labs. You understand that perimenopause and menopause are often dismissed or misunderstood elsewhere, and you take pride in being part of a clinic that takes women seriously. You don't just check a box on a chart — you notice the person in front of you.
You are eager to learn, not just eager to be told. This role touches clinical care, systems, and member experience. You don't need to have done all of it before, but you need to want to. You ask questions, you take notes, and you come back better the next day.
You are a team player who makes everyone better. You thrive in collaboration. You communicate proactively, show up prepared, and make the clinical day smoother for the nurses and NP around you just by being engaged. You don't wait to be handed a task — you see what needs doing and you do it.
You go above and beyond, without being asked. When there's downtime, you find the next thing that needs attention. When something falls through the cracks, you're the one who catches it before anyone else notices. You don't wait to be managed.
You are a cheerleader — and you wear it proudly. Behind every appointment and every chart is a woman with a story, and you hold that with care. If the idea of being your members' biggest cheerleader makes you cringe, this is not the role for you.
You leave your ego at the door. The best idea wins here, not the most senior voice in the room. You take pride in your work and stay humble enough to learn from every person on this team, including the members themselves.
Strong Assets
- Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent clinical training
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Comfortable and confident with front desk, scheduling, and administrative work
- Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment
- Comfort using EMRs, scheduling systems, ClickUp, and digital tools
- Experience in hormone clinics, wellness, or medical aesthetics
- Familiarity with perimenopause, menopause, or women's health
- Experience performing body composition testing or vitamin injections
- Comfort using AI-supported or automation-based systems
Why Fonthealth?
We'll be honest: there are lots of places you could work. So let us tell you why our team chooses us — and why they stay.
- A culture that is positive, warm, and genuinely human — we show up for each other
- A multidisciplinary team model that makes you better at what you do
- A clinic where your voice matters and your ideas are heard
- A structured system that reduces chaos and lets you focus on the work
- A member base that is engaged, motivated, and grateful
- The deep satisfaction of doing work that actually matters for women who are often told to just push through
A Final Note
We are not looking for someone who is simply qualified. Qualifications get you in the door. What keeps you here — and what will make you exceptional in this role — is your heart, your consistency, and your willingness to do the parts of the job that aren't glamorous just as well as the parts that are.
We are adding someone to our family. Not just our team — our family. That means something here.
If you've read this far and felt something stir in you — that's the feeling we're looking for. Trust it.
We can't wait to meet you.
