Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of construction and renovation projects across commercial and residential sites. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation of systems and structures.
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and drywall or plaster restoration as needed.
- Execute plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other specialized installations with attention to safety standards.
- Conduct caulking, painting, sanding, and finishing work to ensure high-quality results.
- Assist with heavy lifting and the assembly of large or complex components on-site.
- Utilize construction estimating skills for project planning and material procurement.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols throughout all phases of installation.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Experience with concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and tile laying.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other construction equipment.
- Skilled in carpentry, woodworking, cabinetry installation, flooring installation, and drywall restoration.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring, HVAC systems, and caulking techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving skills across multiple trades.
