Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electrical systems, safety protocols, and skill development within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Help with the setup and teardown of construction sites, ensuring safety standards are maintained
- Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing basic diagnostics
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Prior experience or background in electrical construction is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and low voltage systems is a plus
- Strong interest in developing skills as an electrician with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to safety protocols throughout all tasks
Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour
