We are a busy and fast-paced bakery / cafe hiring an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead daily coffee operations and ensure exceptional beverage quality. This role involves supervising baristas, training team members, maintaining coffee standards, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee, and specialty beverages
- Lead and supervise barista staff during daily operations
- Train new team members on coffee preparation and customer service standards
- Maintain consistency in beverage quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory and order coffee beans, milk, and café supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of coffee stations
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Support café management with daily operational tasks
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience required; leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction and brewing techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Bakery / café environment
- Customer-focused and team-oriented attitude
