Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined E-Bike Technician to join our growing team. In this role, your primary focus will be on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric bikes (e-bikes), with secondary support in warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on e-bikes, including electrical systems, motors, brakes, and drivetrains.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct safety inspections and performance tests to ensure bikes are in top condition before use or sale.
- Assist in assembling new e-bikes and accessories according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed repair logs and service records.
- Support inventory control by tracking parts usage and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as picking/packing orders, organizing stock, and shipping when needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety guidelines and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience working with bikes or e-bikes in a repair or technical role is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and wiring technologies is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with comfort using tools, schematics, and diagnostics software.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset (training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to occasionally assist with general warehouse duties.
