Janitor/Cleaner - Vancouver, British Columbia
We are seeking a Janitor/ Cleaner for a project located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Wages:
- Wages vary from $24.15- $26.03/hr full-time, plus Vacation and Statutory holiday pay.
- $37.50 Daily travel allowance
- Night Shift premium - $4.00/per hour
- Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Able to work extended hours and weekends.
- Contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards consistently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
