Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Companions to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in Private home settings.
The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with Mobility issues. This is ideal for somebody looking to form genuine connections while making a real difference.
This is casual work, and more so for somebody who wants a little extra spending money, to meet and help some interesting people while gaining valuable and transferable experience.
Shifts range from 1-2 Hours.
This is an incredibly casual and Stress Free role, your hours are entirely up to you.
You will be doing nothing medical of any sort, the aim of this position is to help both the elderly and younger populations in such a trying economic time.
Both clients and workers will be thoroughly screened.

Duties
- Assist with daily activities such as light housekeeping, cleaning, and meal preparation
- Support patients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Support patients with dementia or hospice care needs by offering patience and understanding
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
Experience
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- giving experience involving meal preparation and light cleaning is beneficial
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively is preffered
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Relevant certifications or training in patient care or caregiving are advantageous but not required.
