On behalf of our client, Poultry Health Services Ltd., we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse and Delivery Associate to support inventory management, order fulfilment, and warehouse operations. This role is integral to ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and delivery of pharmaceutical and veterinary products while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Inventory and Product Handling
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
- Accurately store over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription products according to warehouse procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and storage conditions for pharmaceutical and veterinary products.
- Maintain organized shelving, bin locations, and appropriate stock rotation.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
Order Fulfilment and Delivery
- Pick, pack, and prepare products and required documentation for shipment based on order requests.
- Verify prescription product documentation and ensure orders meet internal compliance procedures.
- Label and prepare shipments for courier or freight pickup.
- Perform deliveries throughout Alberta using a truck and trailer, with driving times of up to 8 hours.
- Assist walk-in customers as required.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
- Prepare invoicing and receiving point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with stock replenishment and optimization of warehouse layout.
- Operate and manage forklift equipment; load and unload trailers.
- Report damaged, expired, or missing inventory.
- Assist with receiving returns and processing restock items.
- Safely lift and move products weighing up to 25 kg.
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, and delivery records within the inventory management system.
- Follow company procedures related to pharmaceutical handling and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure appropriate documentation for the movement of prescription products.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews as required.
Team Support
- Work closely with the warehouse, customer service, and operations teams to maintain efficient product flow.
- Assist with special projects, product counts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage incoming phone lines and direct calls appropriately.
- Ad hoc projects and duties as assigned.
PREFERRED SKILLSET, PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate for this position will be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse and delivery environment. Additional preferred attributes and qualifications include:

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- · Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment (preferred).
- Experience handling regulated, pharmaceutical, or veterinary products (an asset).
- Forklift certification required.
- Experience operating trailers, attaching trucks to trailers, strapping down loads, etc. required.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks/trailers required.
- Experience operating a pallet jack and utility to load bags onto a pallet is required.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or POS systems.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to successfully complete required background and driving record checks.
