Duties
- Assist senior technicians with routine vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform basic assembly and repair work
- Read and interpret automotive schematics and technical manuals to understand repair procedures
- Support the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components following safety protocols
- Conduct inspections involving heavy lifting and mechanical assessments to identify issues
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored
- Follow safety guidelines diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or maintenance tasks
