Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and technical expertise, with a focus on ensuring optimal operation of plant systems. The Millwright will work closely with maintenance and production teams to uphold safety standards and improve equipment performance.
Duties
- Install, align, and assemble machinery using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems efficiently
- Aid in building of explosive plant
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Conduct analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend solutions
- Assist with maintenance at current explosive plants
- Perform routine inspections to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience, including low voltage systems
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Schematics, CMMS software, and analysis skills
- Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial maintenance operations
