Overview
Aire One is seeking an experienced, highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our approximately 60,000 sq. ft. warehouse and distribution facility.This is a key operational leadership position responsible for ensuring that equipment, parts, materials and supplies are received, stored, controlled and distributed accurately and on time. Our warehouse supports our primary operations as well as four remote locations throughout Southwestern Ontario, making inventory accuracy, logistics planning and execution critical to our success.
We are looking for a manager who thrives in a KPI-driven, process-focused environment and understands that a great warehouse is measured by what happens every day: the right product, in the right place, at the right time.
Responsibilities
- You will lead a warehouse team of approximately 5 employees and take ownership of the performance of the facility, including:
- Managing all day-to-day warehouse, receiving, shipping and distribution activities
- Leading, coaching and holding warehouse employees accountable for performance
- Coordinating scheduled distribution and product movement to our four remote locations
- Ensuring HVAC equipment, parts, materials and supplies are available when required
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels, locations and transaction records
- Establishing and maintaining clear receiving, put-away, picking, staging and shipping processes
- Managing equipment and material staging for scheduled installations and service requirements
- Developing and monitoring warehouse KPIs and performance scorecards
- Identifying bottlenecks, errors, waste and process failures and implementing corrective action
- Conducting and managing cycle counts and inventory accuracy programs
- Maintaining warehouse organization, cleanliness and clearly defined storage locations
- Working closely with Purchasing, Operations, Service and Installation teams
- Ensuring deadlines and internal service commitments are consistently achieved
- Managing vendor deliveries, discrepancies, returns and damaged materials
- Supporting annual and periodic physical inventory counts
- Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and applicable Ontario workplace requirements
- Continuously improving warehouse layout, workflow, productivity and inventory controls
Qualifications
- Valid forklift Licence
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Passion for organization and detail oriented
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction supply, wholesale distribution or another parts-intensive service industry would be considered a strong asset.
